The said two year old winning the Group 2 Coventry Stakes and going on to take the Prix Morny Group1 at Longchamp. First Selection has handsomely repaid Simon Crisford, who in his first season of training, purchased the first lot through the ring last year for £42,000, by winning the Solario Stakes Group 3 at Sandown, having progressed from his Royal Ascot run and finished the season being beaten only 1¾ lengths in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagadere Group 1 at Longchamp.
