2010 Tattersalls Ireland/Ward Union Hunt Show

The 2010 Tattersalls Ireland/Ward Union Hunt Show will take place on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th July. This show is a qualifier for the HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW (HOYS) being held from 6th - 10th October in the NEC in Birmingham. The show is also a qualifier for the NATIONAL HUNTER SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW (NHSCS) being held on 7th & 8th September next at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire.

Showing Classes will include Ridden Hunters, Riding Horses, Cobs, Ladies Hunters (an additional qualifier for HOYS this year), Small Hunters, Coloured Horses, Amateurs, Thoroughbred Ridden Show Horses, Working Hunters and Led Horses.

In the Showjumping section, this year's Show will be part of the 2010 Premier Grand Prix Series maintaining the grade of a 2-Star International level and will be designated Tattersalls CSI**. There will be six International Classes over the three days culminating in a €20,000 Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.

In addition there will be a full range of National Classes including the Final of the HSI Young Horse Series for five and six/seven year-olds as well as a Speed Derby.

The Association of Irish Riding Clubs is also taking part this year for the first time and will hold classes for all levels.
