Tattersalls Ireland today announced the restructuring of the November Breeders’ Flat Sale to what will now be known as the November Yearling Sale. The sale will take place on the weekend of November 17th and 18th 2012 and has previously been the source of notable winners including Group 1 winners Paco Boy and Snow Fairy along with Stakes winners Bible Black, Bob Le Beau and Berg Bahn to name just a few.

Tattersalls Ireland graduate XTENSION (pictured) repeated his 2011 success for trainer John Moore, owner Steve Lo Kit Sing and jockey James McDonald when impressively winning the Group 1 BMW Champions Mile at Sha Tin this morning.

Inspections for the upcoming Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale taking place on September 25th and 26th 2012 have commenced. With the every increasing quality of yearling at this sale, Tattersalls Ireland is optimistic that this year’s sale will again produce strong international and domestic demand. The €125,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes is again open for yearlings sold at the sale. This year’s race will take place at Fairyhouse on Monday 24th September; the eve of the Sale. Tattersalls Ireland has the added bonus of offering vendors the option of entering their horse in the new November Yearling Sale on November 17th & 18th 2012.

Following up on the Grade 1 success of fellow Tattersalls Ireland graduates SIZING EUROPE, CHAMPAGNE FEVER and DEDIGOUT at the Punchestown Festival, Derby Sale graduate CHINA ROCK (pictured) sealed the winning streak by landing the Grade 1 Gold Cup Chase on the final day of the festival.

Tattersalls Ireland graduate DEDIGOUT produced a battling performance to win the Grade 1 Cathal Ryan Memorial Champion Novice Hurdle on day four of the Punchestown Festival. The Derby Sale graduate jumped the last and pulled away to win the race in testing conditions by two lengths ahead of fellow Tattersalls Ireland graduate Colour Squadron.

Tattersalls Ireland 2010 Derby Sale graduate CHAMPAGNE FEVER (pictured left) braved the elements to successfully land the Cheltenham/Punchestown Champion Bumper double today when defying opposition to claim the Grade 1 title.

Tattersalls Ireland graduate SIZING EUROPE notched up his sixth Grade 1 success when winning the Grade 1 Punchestown Champion Chase. The Pistolet Blue gelding displayed an immaculate round of jumping to land the race for trainer Henry de Bromhead, owners Alan and Ann Potts and jockey Andrew Lynch.
