Derby graduates recorded a 1 – 2 in Saturdays Grade 1 Ascot Chase. Monet’s Garden recorded his 16th career win when displaying a foot perfect exhibition of jumping under the guidance of Barry Geraghty to cross the line in front of fellow Derby Sale graduate, Albertas Run.

Monet’s Garden’s trainer, Nicky Richards purchased the gelding for Ir£35,000 at the 2001 Derby Sale from Castletown Quarry Stud. Monet’s Garden has now won over €715,000 in prize money. His next outing is thought to be the Fesitval Chase at Perth in April.
