Tattersalls Ireland enjoyed success in Haydock Park on Saturday when November National Hunt Sale graduate Wymott walked away with the Grade 2 Prestige Novices’ Hurdle. The Donald McCain trained son of Witness box is now expected to run in the Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Wymott was sold by Mary Fennell to Larchgrove Stud for €15,000 as a foal at the 2004 November National Hunt Sale and returned as a yearling to the 2005 November National Hunt Sale to be purchased by Highflyer Bloodstock for €29,000.
