Grand Slam Hero (white face in photo) landed his third consecutive victory of the season when winning the Listed Summer Plate Handicap Chase at Market Rasen on Saturday (17th July). The Nigel Twiston-Davies trained gelding is entered for the Galway Plate and may take his chances at this.

Grand Slam Hero was sold as a foal at the 2001 November National Hunt Sale by Lady Rathdonnell for Ir£6,800 to Chris Newport and returned to the 2004 August National Hunt Sale to be purchased by Mr. G. Walters for €20,000 from Ballincurrig House Stud.
