2018 Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale graduate EAST runner up in Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf
2018 Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale topper EAST (Gate 14) ran an exceptional race on Friday night finishing a gallant second in the Gr.1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf for trainer Kevin Ryan, owner Mrs. RG Hillen and jockey Jamie Spencer. The filly, by Frankel, was sold just less than six months ago by Katie Walsh's Greenhills Farm for €315,000 to Stephen Hillen.
Also this weekend, the ever-consistent VA BANK claimed further Group success when winning the Gr.2 Premio GBI Racing Roma Champion at Capannelle, Italy for Andreas Wohler and Team Valor International and JP Zienkiewicz. The former Polish Triple Crown Champion was sold as a yearling at the 2013 September Yearling Sale by Airlie Stud for €4,500 to Bobby O'Ryan.
