FOUR HIGH PROFILE RACE WINS FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND GRADUATES

The highlight of the day was November NH Sale’s TIDAL BAY (pictured) landing his thirteenth career victory when winning the Grade 2 West Yorkshire Hurdle at Wetherby.

The son of Flemensfirth was sold as a foal at the 2001 November National Hunt Sale for 5,800gns by Deerpark Stables to GA Charlton.

Success continued at Ascot for Tattersalls Ireland with ROBERTO GOLDBACK winning the Grade 3 United House Gold Cup for Nicky Henderson and Simon Munir.

ROBERTO GOLDBACK, who may be making an appearance in the 2013 Grand National, was sold as a foal at the 2002 November National Hunt Sale by Killough House Stud for 15,000euro.

Tattersalls Ireland success continued at Ascot with graduates celebrating double Listed success. RAYA STAR won the Listed Handicap Hurdle and GUS MACRAE landed the Listed Handicap Chase.

RAYA STAR was sold at the 2006 November National Hunt Sale by Ballinaroone Estate for 20,000euro to Richard Rohan before being reoffered at the 2007 November National Hunt Sale by Ballincurrig House Stud selling to November Bloodstock for 36,000euro.

GUS MACRAE was sold at the 2007 Derby Sale by Parkville Stud for 40,000 to Tony Mullins.
