Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale graduate EAST continues her unbeaten run

Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale graduate EAST, lived up to expectations by maintaining her unbeaten status with an emphatic victory in the Group 3 Prix Thomas Jockey Club de Turquie at Saint-Cloud.

The two-year-old Frankel filly made history at the Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale earlier this year when purchased by Stephen Hillen from Greenhills Farm for a record price of €315,000.

Michael Dods trained INTENSE ROMANCE (pictured above), now three from three, followed up on her recent victory in the Listed Arran Scottish Fillies' Sprint when landing the Listed Duke of Edinburgh's Award Rous Stakes at Ascot on Saturday. Owned by Hugh Malcolm Linsley and bred by John O'Connor, the Intense Focus filly was purchased by her trainer for €21,000 from Ballylinch Stud.

PRINCESS YAIZA, who was offered at the September Yearling Sale Part II, claimed French glory at Longchamp on Saturday for local trainer Gavin Cromwell. The Caseamento filly landed the biggest success of her career by winning the Group 2 Qatar Prix de Royallieu under Andrea Atzeni in the colours of Lindsay Laroche. PRINCESS YAIZA was offered by Oghill Stud.
