Graded Double this weekend for Tattersalls Ireland

A chasing performance that firmly placed himself as a Festival contender, MONALEEled from the off and put in a flawless jumping performance to comfortably win the Grade 2 Red Mills Chase at Gowran Park on Saturday. The Henry de Bromhead eight-year-old owned by Barry Maloney, is the previous winner of the Grade 1 Novice Chase at the Dublin Racing Festival just 12 months ago and was bred by Aidan Aherne. Aherne's Windward House Stud sold the Milan gelding at the 2011 November NH Sale to Tom Fitzgerald for €18,000.

At Haydock, ROBINSFIRTH proved himself a real staying type relishing the step up in trip to win the Grade 3 Grand National Trial Handicap Chase for Colin Tizzard and owners Christine Knowles and Wendy Carter. ROBINSFIRTH is a graduate of the market leading Derby Sale. He was sold in 2012 by Liss House to Colin Tizzard for €18,000.
