Flat Foal and Breeding Stock Sale catalogue now online

2016 graduates made their mark at the September Yearling Sale this autumn producing some very successful pinhooks. A bay filly by Society Rock out of Coolminx purchased by Tally-Ho Stud for €14,500 realised €160,000 along with a bay colt by Requinto out of Maraglen who was purchased for €11,000 and sold for €85,000 to the Hong Kong Jockey Club – both bought as foals at the 2016 Flat Foal and Breeding Stock Sale.

 

206 lots make up the foal section with 13 first season sires represented; Anjaal (17), Cable Bay (2), Cappella Sansevero (13), Free Eagle (1), French Navy (6), Fulbright (3), Gutaifan (4), Hillstar (1), Ivawood (1), Kingston Hill (8), Mustajeeb (1), Outstrip (2) and Shooting To Win (1). A total of 66 sires are represented in the catalogue with progeny by; Society Rock (2), Dandy Man (9), Camacho (5), Born To Sea (1), Slade Power (2), Alhebayeb (3), War Command (2) and Garswood (1). 

A further 51 broodmares and potential broodmares complete the catalogue and amongst these there is plenty of quality on offer. Dam-sires include Acclamation, Choisir, Dark Angel, Fastnet Rock, High Chaparral, Invincible Spirit, Lope de Vega, Montjeu and Pivotal. There are plenty of in foal mares catalogued in the sale and covering sires include Alhebayeb, Camacho, Herraat, Red Jazz and Dawn Approach.
