Initial Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sale Wildcards Announced

The initial wildcards for the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sale have been announced, with 15 exceptional entries set to be offered alongside an already strong main catalogue.

The sale will take place on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd May, on the eve of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival at The Curragh. The horses will breeze at Fairyhouse Racecourse on Thursday 21st May, starting at 8.30am with the sale commencing at 10am on Friday 22nd May.

Among the highlights of the wildcard entries are:

A son of NIGHT OF THUNDER was the top priced two-year-old at the 2025 Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sale, and an outstanding filly of that sire will be added to this year’s catalogue. She is out of a sister to the Group 1 Prix Saint-Alary winner QUEENS JEWEL and is consigned by C.F. Bloodstock.

Leading Breeze Up consignor Mocklershill will offer a HAVANA GREY filly, a half-sister to Listed placed JALIYAH and out of a sister to Group 1 Prix Morny winner ARCANO. This addition brings Mocklershill’s draft to 15.

Leamore Horses have made two additional entries, including a son of MEHMAS, a sibling to black-type placed GAVOTA and FIDUCIARY. Also among the duo is a filly by BLACKBEARD who is a half-sister to the two-year-old Listed winner MANHATTAN JUNGLE.

Also among the additional wildcard entries is a filly of BAYSIDE BOY offered by Grangecoor Farm. She is out of a two-time Listed winner FOLIE DE LOUISE.
