4YO MAIDEN POINT TO POINT DOMINANCE FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND GRADUATES
To date, nineteen four-year-old maidens have been held with Tattersalls Ireland graduates winning ten of these. Impressively, eight of these are purchases of the most recent 2013 Derby and August National Hunt Sales.
Among these winners include Court Dismissed, winner of the four-year-old Maiden at Kirkistown and purchased at the 2013 August NH Sale for €6,500; Minella Rocco (pictured), an eight length winner of the four-year-olds at Horse and Jockey and purchased for €48,000 at the 2013 Derby Sale along with the winner of the four-year-old Maiden at Bennetsbridge, Fact File purchased at the 2013 August NH Sale for €12,500. Whistle Dixie, a half sister to Kicking King, highlights the success of fillies by winning the four-year-old Mares Maiden at a notoriously renowned competitive Lemonfield, a purchase from the 2013 Derby Sale for €100,000. Other winners include Minella Berry, Ice Cold Soul, Victory Mill, Monbeg Gold, Lift The Latch and Kiteney Wood.
53% of the four-year-old Maidens in Ireland in 2014 have been won by Tattersalls Ireland graduates proving that not only is Tattersalls Ireland the highest producer of National Hunt Stakes winners in Ireland and Great Britain but is also the source of precocious horses delivering results at the early stages of their careers.
