19 Aug 2026 Share on X Share on Facebook Armor is Supreme in Juvenile Sprint Stakes Armor Supreme was purchased in Part II of the September Yearling Sale.The Diego Dias-trained ARMOR SUPREME was the latest graduate of the September Yearling Sale to win at stakes level, as the two-year-old filly landed the Juvenile Sprint Stakes at The Curragh on Sunday.She was making it two victories from four racecourse starts this season, and was following on from solid efforts in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, and a second placed effort in the Listed Marygate Stakes on her second start.She was purchased last September in Part II of the September Yearling Sale from Browne Brothers Bloodstock by Donna Cowens’ and Nicky Souza de Oliveira’s DNA Equine.Commenting after the race trainer Diego Dias mentioned that the Group 2 Flying Childers is a likely next target for the filly, who is part owned by Team Valor International, who bought into the filly after she made a winning debut at Goodwood in May.The September Yearling Sale continues to maintain pole position as the leading source of two-year-old winners from yearling sales in 2025. It has also enjoyed a remarkable level of Listed success this year, second only to graduates of Tattersalls Book 1, further underlining the sale’s strength and consistency in producing high-class performers.Other two-year-old winners in recent days were FLOODING who broke her maiden tag at Salisbury last Thursday for Marco Botti and Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners.The Nick Bradley Racing-owned CORAL COVE made it back-to-back wins as she defied a penalty to win readily at Ripon, while KODI BEAR LIGHT added a second success this season with victory in the nursery at Newmarket on Saturday.America Queen Breezes to Listed GloryThe talented Breeze Up Sale graduate AMERICA QUEEN bounced back to winning ways as she landed the featured Flying Fillies Stakes at Pontefract on Sunday.America Queen is a graduate of the 2025 Breeze Up Sale.It was deserved first success this season for Richard Hughes’ speedy filly, who proved far too strong for her nine rivals and bounded clear for a four length success.She was among the best juvenile fillies last season, with her form featuring a fine second in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes and culminating with an excellent fourth in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes.She was a €180,000 purchase from Katie Walsh’s Greenhills Farm by Rabbah Bloodstock at the 2025 Breeze Up Sale, and a return to higher grade is likely after this most pleasing performance.
