AUGUST NATIONAL HUNT SALE HORSES IN TRAINING SECTION GETS BOOST WITH WINNER ON GALWAY PLATE DAY FOR SOPHIE’S WORLD

The Horses in Training Section has also been enhanced by the addition of ten exciting lots including Bumper, Hurdle, Chase and Point to Point winners.

These Lots include;

Lot 12 Oscar Wings

A bumper and hurdle winner from the family of Westender, she has a very attractive rating of 84 over hurdles.  Given she has proven her ability to win races; a change in scenery could see her exploit her handicap rating.

Lot 19 Railway Benefit

A full brother to the 2014 Betfred Summer Plate winner IT’S A GIMMIE, this lightly raced type has shown useful snippets of form to merit consideration. He was third on his last start in a Limerick Maiden Hurdle.

Lot 20 The Visitor

A model of consistency, this son of Invincible Spirit has been placed on six of his nine starts both on the flat and over hurdles. From the family of Eva Luna, this horse looks banker material to win under both codes.

Lot 21 Blackstone Edge

This progressive 6yo has brought his point to point winning form to the track finishing third on his racecourse debut. He was ridden by a novice rider to win his point to point and a successful career in point to points or inside the rails looks likely.

Lot 26 Lucky Boots

A daughter of Milan and out of a five time winning Orchestra mare.  A mare who shows her best form when she gets some decent ground, she has been placed on her last three starts and doesn’t need to improve to earn her place in the winners enclosure.

Lot 27 Celtic Artisan

A son of Dylan Thomas, who is fast making a name for himself as a sire in the National Hunt sphere, this gelding has the profile of a horse that would make into a smart Juvenile Hurdler. He has shown that he is versatile in terms of ground conditions and he can revert to the flat to exploit his lenient mark at any stage.

Lot 28 Inchivara

A horse for the point to point field or the racecourse as he has shown form in both areas. Out of an Arctic Lord half-sister to Macnamarasband, it is a family that improves with age. This horse looks certain to build on his most recent run when he finished second in a bumper.

Lot 29 Supreme Vinnie

This is a horse with lots of promise. He has represented his fledgling trainer with great credit to date. Supreme Vinnie was only denied by a quarter of a length in a bumper on the most recent of his three starts. With his obvious future over obstacles, his imminent bumper success appears to be a bonus.

Lot 35 Eight Till Late

A very tough likeable sort out of a Bob Back mare. He already has a Bumper and Hurdle victory to his credit and is capable of further progression. He can add further hurdling success to his CV before his true potential is realised over fences.

Lot 36 Presenting Lisa

This daughter of Presenting is a half sister to three individual Black Type horses including Moon Over Miami. She has run twice in point to points finishing third on her debut in Dromahane and second on her other start in Athlacca. Success on the track will serve to enhance her already considerable stud value.
