BEST EVER SEPTEMBER YEARLING SALE CATALOGUE OUT NOW

The September Sale has long been recognised as a constant source of winning trainers’ horses as well as quality racehorses, and already 50 two-year-olds sold at last year’s sale have won 62 races more than any other yearling sale in Ireland.

The exciting Royal Ascot Group 2 Coventry Stakes winner The Wow Signal, the only Royal Ascot winner sold at public auction in Ireland, now with the top autumn juvenile Group 1 races on his agenda, heads the growing list of successful graduates sold last year. The 14-time winner Lucky Nine, a graduate of the 2008 September Sale, continues to perform at the highest level on the international stage and won his seventh Group 1 in May when successful in the KrisFlyer International Sprint. Other horses of note include stakes winning 2yo’s: Jack Naylor, Convergence along with Black Type winners Fontanelice, Producer, Trumpet Major, Top Notch Tonto and Dutch Masterpiece.

Purchasers have the chance to buy into Lucky Nine’s family through Lot 132, a Vocalised colt offered by Al Eile Stud. He is a first foal out of the juvenile winner Zelloof, a Kheleyf half-sister to the dam of the Hong Kong-based star and a daughter of the champion juvenile Belle Genius.

This year’s Group 3-winning September Sale graduates include the Gladness Stakes winner Sruthan and the Glorious Stakes winner Pether’s Moon, whose family is represented by Lot 75, a March-born colt by first-season sire Frozen Power offered by Deer Forest Stud.
