Champers Elysees adds Group success to her winning tally

Champers Elysees adds Group success to her winning tally when winning the Group 3 Coolmore No Nay Never Fairy Bridge Stakes at Gowran Park on Wednesday. Johnny Murtagh's progressive filly remains unbeaten this season and was last seen dominating her rivals when winning the Listed Corrib Fillies Stakes by 7 lengths at the Galway Festival. The Elzaam filly's next target is the Group 1 Matron Stakes taking place in Leopardstown on Irish Champions Weekend. 

The filly was sold by Mantlehill Stud at the 2017 Tattersalls Ireland November Flat Breeding Stock Sale for €12,500, before being sold by Aughamore Stud to her trainer for €28,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale the following year. The Mehmas half brother (Lot 222) to Champers Elysees will be offered by Beechvale Stud at the upcoming September Yearling Sale, which now takes place in Park Paddocks, Newmarket on the 21-22 September.
