Derby Sale 2020: Catalogue Now Online
Tattersalls Ireland are pleased to announce that 466 top class National Hunt stores have been selected for the 2020 Derby Sale. The Derby Sale celebrated nine individual Grade 1 winners during the 2019/2020 jumps season. The sale takes place from 13 - 17 July 2020 and the catalogue is now available to view online.
This year's catalogue features some of the best store horses on offer including siblings to Altior, Champ, and Monalee. Other high profile winners whose siblings feature throughout the catalogue include Latest Exhibition, Fayonagh, Bellshill, The Game Changer, Chris's Dream, Laurina, Relegate, Vision Des Flos, Put The Kettle On, Dodging Bullets, Black Tears, any many more.
This year at the Cheltenham Festival six Derby Sale graduates came out on top. Honeysuckle landed the Gr.1 Close Brothers Mare's Hurdle, adding a fourth Gr.1 win to her tally. Nicky Henderson's Shishkin battled home to win the Gr.1 Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle while Monkfish held off Fury Road to claim the Gr.1 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle. The Gr.1 Champion Bumper was a 1-2-3 for the Derby Sale with Ferny Hollow coming out in front of Appreciate It and Queens Brook. Other Grade 1 graduates from the season include the French bred winner Asterion Forlonge and the Betfair Chase winner Lostintranslation.
All horses catalogued for the Derby Sale are eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland George Mernagh Memorial Sales Bumper 2021.
