Success came from Derby Sale graduates Black Op in the Grade 1 Betway Mersey Novices’ Hurdle, Identity Thief in the Grade 1 Ryanair Stayers Hurdle and Thomas Patrick in the Grade 3 Betway Handicap Chase. In the most thrilling finish witnessed in years, the world’s most famous race, the Grade 3 Randox Health Grand National finished in a head-to-head battle with Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham Sale graduate Tiger Roll and Derby Sale graduate Pleasant Company. Gordon Elliott’s three-time Cheltenham Festival winner got his nose in front by the narrowest of margins and victory went to the Elliott team with Davy Russell in the saddle in the colours of Gigginstown House Stud.
