He was sold for €50,000 by Moanmore Stables to Tom Lacey at the Derby Sale. Singing Banjo put in a superb performance to win the La Touche Cup just two days on from victory over the banks at Punchestown under Barry Walsh for Philip Rothwell & J P Walsh.
