EIGHTEEN HORSES GO TO POST FOR €125,000 TATTERSALLS IRELAND SUPER AUCTION STAKES
Trainer Mark Johnston hopes to make his raid a successful one, saddling four of the runners; An Chulainn, Atlantic Affair, Princess Tamay and Maid In Rio. Other UK based trainers with runners include Paul Green, Stan Moore and Shaun Harris.
The Irish runners are headed by Kevin Prendergast’s Pixie Hollow, Brendan Duke’s Focussed and Johnny Murtagh’s Pillow.
Previous winners of the Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Stakes include Three Sea Captains (2012, Pictured), Dick Turpin (2009), Invincible Force (2006), Wake Up Maggie (2005) along with trainer Richard Hannon winning the race six consecutive years from 1996 to 2001.
