12 Sep 2016 Share on X Share on Facebook GRADE 1 DOUBLE FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND BENEFFICIENT, a winner of the Grade 2 Jewson Novices’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival recorded his third Grade 1 career victory when winning the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase ahead of fellow Tattersalls Ireland graduate Hidden Cyclone. BENEFFICIENT was sold as a three-year-old at the 2009 Derby Sale by Bellisle Stud for €3,000 to Debbie Hartnett. Debbie Hartnett and Tim Linehan returned the son of Beneficial to the 2011 Point to Point and Horses in Training Sale selling him to his trainer Tony Martin for €52,000. The second Grade 1 success on day two of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival was from THE TULLOW TANK who ran out the impressive winner of the Grade 1 Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle making this his fourth consecutive victory. THE TULLOW TANK, a five-year-old son of Oscar was purchased at the 2011 Derby Sale by Sam Curling for €21,000 from Windward Stud.
