Grand National Glory as Tattersalls Ireland graduates dominate the final day of the Aintree Festival

The most coveted
prize in National Hunt racing was up for grabs at Aintree and it was November,
Derby and Cheltenham Sale graduate ONE FOR ARTHUR who siezed the
opportunity to clinch the sought-after Grade 3 Randox Health Grand
National. Leading Scottish jumps trainer Lucinda Russell became just the fourth
female to train the winner and it was Derek Fox who confidently rode the son of
Milan to victory for owners Two Golf Widows.

OSCAR had a hefty reputation to live up to unbeaten on his three track
appearances. His reputation was justified when he destroyed opposition to win
the Grade 1 Mersey Novices’ Hurdle under Alan and Ann Potts new
retained rider Robbie Power for Leading Trainer of the meeting Colin
Tizzard.
