Group 3 Glory for September Yearling Sale Graduate Jennifer Jane

The September Yearling Sale enjoyed another stakes success on Sunday as graduate Jennifer Jane landed the Group 3 Darley Prix Chloé at Chantilly.

The three-year-old daughter of New Bay added Group 3 honours to an already impressive record for trainer Charlie Johnston and owners Russell Trew and Townbraccan, having captured the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes at Newmarket earlier this season. Consigned by Baroda Stud, Jennifer Jane was purchased by Johnston Racing for €50,000 at the 2024 September Yearling Sale.

The September Yearling Sale leads the way as a source of two-year-old winners, with I Ready becoming the latest juvenile graduate to win at The Curragh yesterday. Recent successes have also included Rabbah Bloodstock’s Bint Archange, who followed up a novice success with Listed honours at Sandown, while Star Of State showed future promise when winning the Maiden at Leopardstown last Thursday by an impressive nine-length margin.
