The catalogue for the July Store Sale is now available to view online. Taking place on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th July, the sale will feature 579 lots, including a significant number of Wildcard entries that have been included in the main catalogue. The sale will commence at 10am each day. Scottish National winner Captain Cody maintained his position as a high-quality flagship graduate of the July Store Sale, and the seven-year-old’s Ayr win in April followed on from graded success as a novice hurdler the previous season. The July Store Sale saw numerous graduates compete at a high level throughout the 2024/25 season. The Wallpark was one of the most improved hurdlers last season, rising 26lb in the ratings and finishing an admirable third in the Grade 1 Stayers’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Only By Night posted Listed and Grade 2 successes, before filling the runner-up spot in the two-mile Grade 1 novice chases at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals. And Cracking Rhapsody won back-to-back renewals of the valuable Morebattle Hurdle, before following up in the Scottish Champion Hurdle. Grade 2 winner Only By Night is a July Store Sale graduate. Between the flags, the 2024 July Store Sale produced some impressive four-year-old winners, including Tip Of The Wings who created a strong impression when winning on debut at Daramona House, and Max’d Out who shed his maiden tag at Loughanmore in April. July Store Sale graduate Tip Of The Wings won his four-year-old maiden on debut. This year’s catalogue includes some well related three-year-olds, including Grade 1 winning dams, siblings to black type winners, and dams from strong National Hunt families. Dam of black-type performers Myztique and Annie Angel. • Lot 306: Order of St George gelding out of five-time winner and Listed placed Little Miss Poet. The catalogue boasts a strong sire profile with entries from stallions including Blue Bresil, Goliath Du Berlais, Harzand, Masked Marvel, Order of St George, Affinisea, Cokoriko, Crystal Ocean, Poet’s Word, Soldier of Fortune, Jukebox Jury, Maxios, Tunis and Walk In The Park. All horses catalogued and offered at the July Store Sale are eligible for the Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Bumper, which will be run at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival on December 28th 2026. The vendor of the winning horse will drive away in a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLC. For the first time, three-year-olds sold 17 months earlier as two-year-olds at the July Store Sale will have the opportunity to participate in an Irish bumper. This race complements the Academy Hurdle Race Series by HRI and ensures point-to-point graduates remain eligible, even if sold to new owners.
