Listed success for September Yearling Sale graduates

Folgaria winning the Listed Premio Mario E Vittorio Crespi

The
September Yearling Sale is known for producing two-year-old winners and last
year’s renewal is proving no different with 31 individual winners so far
including black type success.

Folgaria remains unbeaten and scored her second Listed win in Italy this weekend for trainer Stefano Botti and owner Sc.SAGAM Srls. 

The filly by Due Diligence was sold at the September Yearling Sale for €10,000 by The Castlebridge Consignment to the trainer last year. 

American Sonja winning the
Listed Prix Volterra

American Sonja made all to win the Listed Prix Volterra at Paris Longchamp under Christophe Soumillon for Joseph O’Brien and Mark Dobbin.

The three-year-old filly by Tasleet was sold at the September Yearling Sale for £30,000 by Castledillon Stud to Con Marnane before selling at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale for 95,000gns.
