NOVEMBER NH CATALOGUE NOW ONLINE

This year’s sale comprises 1475 lots and will start on Monday 11th November with 274 of the best NH yearlings catalogued, followed by four days of high quality foals. The sale will conclude with older stock, fillies and Broodmares on Saturday 16th November.

Included in this year’s sale is the exciting dispersal from Brian Griffiths and John Nicholson sold under Mill House Stud which features an outstanding group of Foals, Fillies and Broodmares. The 12 lot dispersal will feature a filly foal by Robin des Champs out of the daughter of the Chepstow Finale Hurdle winner Nas Na Riogh, a Kayf Tara colt foal out of dual Cheltenham Mares Hurdle winner Silver Charmer, a Shantou filly sister to Kells Belle winner of Listed races at Cheltenham and Sandown. Also included in the dispersal are the mares; Hymn in Love, a winner and in foal to Saint des Saints and sister to two Listed Auteil winners and Dalamine, in foal to Beat Hollow and dam of the exciting Don Poli who has recently joined Willie Mullins for Gigginstown Stud and 3yo gelding by Robin des Pres recently joined N.Henderson.

The World’s largest National Hunt Sale is preceded by the inaugural November National Hunt Yearling Show with a prize fund of €12,000 on Sunday 10th November. The show in association with the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association will feature yearlings catalogued for Monday 11th November.

The qualifying heats will commence at 11.00am on Sunday with the Championship at 2.30pm. There will be a first prize of €3,000 for the leading colt or gelding and prize money will go all the way down to 10th place. For fillies there will be a first prize of €1500 and prize money down to fifth place.

The yearling show judges include French bloodstock agent; Herve Bunel of Agence FIPS; an extremely successful bloodstock agent from France and a prolific buyer at the November National Hunt Sales in recent years. Also judging is Ian Ferguson a well-known trainer and highly regarded judge of National Hunt Horses from Northern Ireland and UK based Tom Malone, a well renowned and highly successful bloodstock agent will also be one of the judges and successful trainer Ben Case, a regular buyer at the November National Hunt and Derby Sales completing the panel.

All yearlings catalogued can be nominated and nominations for inclusion in this new show are invited by Friday November 8th, 2013.
