PERFECT CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR DERBY SALE GRADUATE CUE CARD WITH GRADE 1 KING GEORGE VI CHASE WIN

CUE CARD, a two time graduate of Tattersalls Ireland, was firstly sold in 2007 at the February National Hunt Sale when purchased by Aiden Murphy. He was subsequently sold at the 2009 Derby Sale by Goldford Stud and bough by Aidan Kennedy for €52,000.

FANTASTIC FAUGHEEN LANDS SIXTH GRADE 1

One of the most exciting hurdlers on the National Hunt scene, FAUGHEEN retuned to his impressive self by winning the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle by a substantial seven lengths. In second place was three time Tattersalls Ireland graduate THE NEW ONE, himself a multiple Graded winner.

Willie Mullins’ and Mrs Susannah Ricci’s FAUGHEEN put the disappointment of his recent Punchestown run firmly behind him by producing a brilliant display of jumping taking his second Christmas Hurdle flawlessly. 

FAUGHEEN, bred by Dr John Waldron, was sold as a foal by Coolnahay Stud for just €4,000 to Peter Quinlan.
