MAIN DESIRE maintained her unbeaten record and claimed black-type success on only her second start, winning the Listed Marygate Fillies’ Stakes at York for Michael Bell and Danny Tudhope in the colours of Clipper Logistics. Bell was confident about the daughter of High Chaparral and highlighted the Queen Mary as her obvious target. He commented; “I haven’t had a two-year-old like this, who as excited me as much, for a while.”MAIN DESIREListed Marygate Fillies’ Stakes2016 September Yearling SaleVendor: Mr Max ErvinePrice: €40,000Purchaser: Joe Foley The Olympic Glory Conditions Stakes at Newbury on Saturday is a good pointer for the coveted Coventry Stakes.
