September Yearling Sale Two-Year-Olds aiming for Royal Ascot

The September Yearling Sale had the pleasure in
providing two of the most talked about two-year-olds this season to date
after impressive wins by unbeaten graduates MAIN
DESIRE and DENAAR.

MAIN DESIRE maintained her unbeaten record
and claimed black-type success on only her second start, winning
the Listed Marygate Fillies’ Stakes at York for Michael Bell and
Danny Tudhope in the colours of Clipper Logistics. Bell was confident about
the daughter of High Chaparral and highlighted the Queen Mary as her obvious
target. He commented; “I haven’t had a two-year-old like this,
who as excited me as much, for a while.”

The Olympic Glory Conditions

Coventry Stakes. It was the Al Shaqab owned and Richard Hannon trained
combination that took the race for the second year running. The race was
won by 2016 September Yearling Sale graduate DENAAR and
all roads now lead to Royal Ascot for the Acclamation colt.
