Space Cadet lands the Ulster National at Downpatrick

Derby Sale graduate Space Cadet stayed on strongly to win the €50,000 Randox Ulster National for owner Chris Jones and trainer Gearoid O’Loughlin at Downpatrick on Sunday. Space Cadet went on to win by two lengths giving Ben Harvey his first success under rules. 

Space Cadet was purchased at the Derby Sale by Mags O’Toole for €100,000 from Shanaville Stables. He was also sold as a foal at the November National Hunt Sale by Kenilworth House Stud to Autumn Bloodstock for €16,500.
