Tattersalls Ireland Announce Sponsorship of Leading Lady Rider

With the autumn point-to-point season commencing this weekend, Tattersalls Ireland is pleased to announce its sponsorship of 2025/2026 Champion Lady Rider Nicole Lockhead Anderson for the forthcoming season.

The Scottish-born rider was crowned Champion Lady Rider last season after riding 13 winners and is attached to the stable of Sam Curling, who himself landed the handlers’ title last season with a record 49 winners.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Lockhead Anderson said: “It is a great privilege to partner with Tattersalls Ireland. I’m very grateful for the opportunity, and I’m reminded on a daily basis of the quality that goes through the ring at Tattersalls Ireland, with a large number of Derby Sale graduates being trained at Skehanagh Stables.”

Nicole Lockhead Anderson joins bloodstock inspector and nine-time champion point-to-point rider Barry O’Neill as a Tattersalls Ireland-sponsored rider for the season.

Tattersalls Ireland will once again sponsor a number of fixtures throughout the autumn and spring point-to-point schedules.

The 2026 spring point-to-point season showcased the talent to emerge from the 2025 Derby Sale, with headline grabbing performances from four-year-old graduates such as Palinca, Monster Truck and Monzon Sport.

The autumn schedule is expected to feature a large number of four-and-five-year-old graduates, all of whom will have the option of the Tattersalls Cheltenham November and December Sales should their performances warrant places in the boutique sales.
