Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale Catalogue is Now Online

Four of the most eagerly anticipated days in the National Hunt sales calendar are approaching, with the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale set to take place from Sunday 10th November to Wednesday 13th November. The sale will witness the latest offering from some of Ireland’s leading National Hunt families put through the Tattersalls Ireland sales ring.

The catalogue is now online and includes 887 lots. The breakdown of the catalogue sees 804 foals, 37 yearlings and 43 mares offered for sale.

The sale will begin at 10am daily, with yearlings offered on the opening day, followed by foals, while the mares section will conclude the sale on day four. The sale is formatted alphabetically beginning with the letter “T” each day.

Pinhookers were well rewarded earlier this year with November National Hunt sale graduates producing significant profits at the 2024 Derby Sale, among them a €50,000 November foal purchase sold for €135,000, and a €68,000 November foal purchase sold for €160,000.

Over 80 sires are represented in the overall catalogue, including 35 foals from the 2023-2024 leading National Hunt sire Walk In The Park. The progeny of Poet’s Word, Order of St George, No Risk At All, Doctor Dino, Blue Bresil, Goliath Du Berlais, and Jeu St Eloi were all in high demand earlier this year at the Tattersalls Ireland Store sales, and these sires are strongly represented numerically.

Graduates from the November National Hunt Sale have performed with distinction at the highest level in the last 12 months, with Ballyburn now the fourth highest rated hurdler in Ireland after a superb novice campaign that included three Grade 1 victories. Other graduates of the sale include the 2023 Champion Hurdle winner Constitution Hill, and six-time Grade 1 winner Shishkin.
