TATTERSALLS IRELAND NOVEMBER NH SALE CATALOGUE OUT NOW

The November National Hunt Sale commences on Monday November 11th with the sale of 272 yearlings, Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th November will see 958 highly regarded National Hunt Foals go under the hammer, with the sale of Older Horses (77 lots) and Mares and Fillies (154 lots) concluding the sale on Saturday 16th November. The Sale is preceded by the November National Hunt Yearling Show with a prize fund of €12,000 on Sunday 10th November.  

This years’ catalogue features an impressive 141 siblings to Graded and Listed performers and boasts a selection of stock from all the leading National Hunt sires including Flemensfirth, Presenting, Robin des Champs, Milan, Kayf Tara, Beneficial, Stowaway, Scorpion, Gold Well and Kalanisi to name just a few.

As ever, Ireland and Great Britain’s leading national hunt studs and breeders have impressive consignments including Ballincurrig House Stud, Rathbarry Stud, Jamestown Consignment, Yellowford Farm, Goldford Stud, The Beeches Stud, Baroda & Colbinstown Studs, Cleaboy Stud & Coppice Farm along with Mill House Stud who will offer an exciting dispersal from Brian Griffiths and John Nicholson which features an outstanding group of foals, fillies and broodmares.

Amongst the highlights in the yearling section include Lot 46, a half brother to FAIR ALONG, Lot 117, a half brother to BRINDISI BREEZE by Ballingarry and Lot 209, a half brother to THE NEW ONE by Westerner. All lots catalogued in the yearling section are eligible for the inaugural National Hunt Yearling Show in association with the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association which will precede the sale taking place on Sunday November 10th.

Eye- catching pedigrees in the Foal Section include an own brother to WEAPON’S AMNESTY (Lot 379), an own sister to DARLAN (Lot 661), a Big Bad Bob half sister to Gold Cup winner BOBS WORTH (Lot 670), an own brother to Champion Bumper winner BRIAR HILL (Lot 696), a Yeats half brother to multiple Grade 1 winner HURRICANE FLY (Lot 734) and an own brother to MONKSLAND (Lot 1113) along with siblings to BRIGHT NEW DAWN (Lot 588), RACING DEMON (Lot 624), BOG WARRIOR (Lot 699), KICKING KING (Lot 712), MENORAH (Lot 892), ROCK ON RUBY (Lot 924) and TED VEALE (Lot 1162).

77 horses are on offer in the Older Section. Notable lots include a half brother to ZUM SEE (Lot 1262), a half brother to SHE’S OUR MARK (Lot 1268) and a half sister to the promising JOANNE ONE (Lot 1292).

The Mare Section concludes the sale and offers an excellent book of pedigrees, both recent and established, along with some very fashionable coverings. Covering sires represented include Beneficial, Flemensfirth, Gold Well, Presenting and Stowaway. Among the 154 mares on offer, probable highlights include Listed winner NORAS FANCY in foal to Presenting (Lot 1378), Lost Link, dam of FOR NON STOP in foal to Presenting (Lot 1390), Listed and four time winner ARAUCARIA in foal to Malinas (Lot 1434), Grade 3 and seven time winner OUR GIRL SALLEY in foal to Jeremy (Lot 1445) and Bobs Star, dam of JOANNE ONE in foal to Presenting.

The Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale takes place from Monday November 11th – Saturday November 16th. The sale commences at 10am each day. The inaugural National Hunt Yearling Show in association with Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association takes place on Sunday November 10th commencing at 11am.
