€300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes 2023

Native American provided Richard Fahey with his second victory of the €300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes at the Irish Champions Festival having previously won the race in 2020 with Shark Two One. Native American made it two from two with a very impressive performance under Colin Keane and provided owners Wathnan Racing with their first win on Irish soil. The Sioux-Nation colt was sold for €75,000 by Edmond Ryan of Weir View Stud to Robin O’Ryan and Richard Fahey at last year’s September Yearling Sale. All connections of Native American attended on the day to witness this valuable victory. Edmond and Grainne Ryan, as vendors of the winning horse, were also on hand to receive the keys to a brand-new Overlander R240 horsebox.
