Denis Cusack from Ashfield House Stud: November National Hunt Sale 2026

Denis will offer two foals, both possessing strong National Hunt pedigrees, in next month’s November National Hunt Sale.

A son of Poet’s Word, out of the Grade 2 winner Ballyshannon Rose, and a daughter of Affinisea out of Grade 3 placed Creation, are two of the highlights within a strong 682 lot catalogue.

Both foals will be consigned by Michael Hickey’s Sunnyhill Stud. The catalogue includes siblings to Grade 1 winners Frodon and Storming George, and also features foals out of a number of high-class race mares.

Robert Hall went to visit Denis at Ashfield Stud to hear more about his foals.
