The Cork man partnered over 1,200 winners during an illustrious career, and tasted success on the biggest stage, including that memorable Champion Hurdle – Gold Cup double aboard Alderbrook and Master Oats at Cheltenham in 1995. Norman established Oak Tree Farm with his wife Janet in 2004, and over the years have posted some spectacular pinhooking successes across various sales. With the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale taking place later this month, Robert Hall paid a visit to see Norman, and while the Oak Tree Farm draft for the Derby Sale was one of the key items down for discussion, they also chatted about his riding career and his path into the world of pinhooking.
