16 Feb 2026 Share on X Share on Facebook On the Road with Derby Sale Inspector Jamie Codd Inspections are underway for the 2026 Derby Sale, and Jamie Codd was travelling in style as he drove the Mercedes-Benz GLC on his first day of inspections.All horses entered in the Derby Sale are eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper, where the vendor of the winning horse will drive away in the luxurious Mercedes-Benz GLC. The race will take place for the first time at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival later this year.Jamie paid a visit to Ken and Peter Parkhill, famed for producing some of National Hunt racing’s leading stars, and John Flood’s Boardsmill Stud, the home of leading National Hunt stallion Poet’s Word.Entries for the 2026 Derby Sale are now being taken, with the Ireland’s Premier Store Sale year after year attracting National Hunt racing’s most powerful buyers, and continuing to consistently produce Grade 1 winners.
