Derby Sale Part II

Part II of the Derby Sale returns for the first time since 2017 and includes 201 lots, with many of those catalogued boasting top class National Hunt pedigrees. A number of those listed in Part II are out of black type winning mares, or relatives to high achieving performers from recent seasons.

Among those catalogued include a Getaway gelding out of a listed bumper winner (Lot 462), a Blue Bresil gelding out of a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Slate House (Lot 482), a Poet’s Word filly out of a six-time winner and listed winner (Lot 500), and a Poet’s Word filly out of a listed winner (Lot 633).

Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper

All horses catalogued and offered at the 2025 Derby Sale are eligible for the Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper, which will be run at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival on December 28th 2026. The vendor of the winning horse will drive away in a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLC. For the first time, three-year-olds sold 18 months earlier as two-year-olds at the Derby Sale will have the opportunity to participate in an Irish bumper.
